The members of Soroptimist International of Redmond believe in community service. Our current projects include:
Girls Committee is dedicated to developing and supporting programs that encourage the development of strength, courage, confidence, honesty, and communication skills for girls. Projects include:
- Girl of the Month is a project that will help girls in our community to
- Pro-Tech Award is awarded to a high senior girl majoring in a vocational or a technological program in college.
- Violet Richardson Award is awarded to a high school senior girl based on her volunteer involvement in the community. Half of the award is given to the charity designated by the recipient.
Women with Children committee is responsible for identifying needs and projects affecting the women with children in our community. Some of the projects include:

Adult Women committee is responsible for identifying needs and projects affecting the women in our community. Some of the projects include:
- Women's Opportunity Award - assisting women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and job prospects.
- Federation Annual Campaign
- Federation Disaster Relief Fund - provides funds for programs that assist women and girls after a man-made or natural disaster.
- Ruby Award – For Women Helping Women: recognizes and honors the first federation president, Ruby Lee Minar. A ruby is also a deep red gemstone associated with wisdom, importance, vitality, strength, vivacity, power and love: all words embodying the strong and compassionate women who are our award recipients. The Soroptimist Ruby Award honors women who have worked to improve the lives of women and girls through their professional and/or volunteer work.
REACH (Resources-Education-And-Community-Health) - Develop and implement projects which promote resources and education that support a healthy community.
- Back Pack project – give back packs filled with basic personal items to the Family Access Network (FAN) to be distributed to youth on predetermined criteria.
- Darkness to Light – educational training sponsored by Kids Center and Redmond Soroptimist.
- Adopt a Family – helping with the needs of a family during the holidays.
